Cybersecure New Brunswick $3,000 Grant: Archived Guide

Cybersecure New Brunswick offered eligible small and medium-sized businesses reimbursement of up to $3,000 for cybersecurity and artificial intelligence work. The initiative was delivered through the New Brunswick CBDC network with support from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, as described in the administrator’s launch announcement.

What the program supported

The program aimed to help businesses understand cybersecurity and AI and access relevant expertise. Published applicant conditions included being a registered, for-profit business headquartered in New Brunswick, earning at least $30,000 in revenue in the most recent tax year, and accepting participation commitments. The portal described one grant per registered business.

These historical conditions do not establish eligibility for a future program. If the administrator announces another round, use its new documents and dates rather than relying on this summary.

What changed in this guide

An earlier version promoted applications until December 2025 and described approval and reimbursement timelines. Those instructions are no longer current. The published portal deadline was March 31, 2026, and we have removed the active application promises. We have also removed CDAP artwork, which represented a different funding program.

Planning a project without assuming grant funding

If your business still needs a cybersecurity or AI improvement, begin with the problem and a budget you can assess independently. Identify the information a tool would access, the person responsible for reviewing its output and the result you need to measure. Obtain a written scope before purchasing software or hiring a supplier.

Ask your local CBDC directly about any current support. A previous award amount or an archived application form does not establish that funding is available today.
