Definitions

  • Personal Information: Information about an identifiable individual excluding contact information.
  • Contact Information: Information enabling an individual to be contacted at a place of business, which is not covered by this policy or PIPA.
  • Privacy Officer: The individual designated to ensure Oi Marketing Inc.’s compliance with this policy and PIPA.

1.1 We will communicate the purposes for which personal information is being collected before or at the time of collection, unless the purposes are obvious and the client voluntarily provides their personal information.

1.2 The collection of client information is crucial for purposes such as:

  • Delivering requested products and services
  • Ensuring a high standard of service

2.1 Consent will be obtained from clients for the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information, unless authorized otherwise by law.

6.0 Securing Personal Information

6.1 Security measures will be employed to protect personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure, including appropriate measures for destroying personal information.

7.0 Providing Clients Access to Personal Information

7.1 Clients have the right to access their personal information, subject to limited exceptions as outlined in PIPA.

8.0 Questions and Complaints: The Role of the Privacy Officer

8.1 The Privacy Officer, Kyle Sanker, is responsible for ensuring Oi Marketing Inc.’s compliance with this policy and PIPA. Clients should direct any complaints, concerns, or questions regarding Oi Marketing Inc.’s compliance in writing to the Privacy Officer.
